Grants

Enhancing educational excellence in all Petaluma area public and non-profit private schools.

Since 1983, PEF has given over $1,315,988 to teachers and administrators to fund projects not covered in the school budget. Our emphasis is to encourage excellence in the classroom through innovation. Programs are selected through a competitive application process and awarded using an objective scoring matrix.

The majority of funding for PEF Grants comes through our annual "Invest in Education" Campaign. Individuals, businesses and community service organizations are encouraged to support education in Petaluma through a donation of any size. Donors may select the Area of Focus to meet their interests. .
